Hi, I’m Lindsey Carr.
I’ve been working with people for many years, helping them to make decisions and move forwards in their lives.
Most people get in touch when they feel stuck, lost, confused, frustrated or stressed.
I provide a calm harbour supporting you whilst you weather your metaphorical storm.

Experience
I’ve had over 30 years’ experience of working in people-facing roles – helping people into work, to change jobs/careers, volunteering, college, university. I’ve worked in education, charities, hospitality. My most unusual jobs include herding sheep on an Australian farm and being a tour guide at a Benedictine monastery!
Along the way I’ve gathered a degree in social sciences, careers guidance qualification and studied a psychological and spiritual understanding about how humans and life works.
I’ve been working for myself as a Coach since 2017. Helping people when they are facing difficulties is a total privilege. Clients range in age from young people to age 63 so far!.
More recently I’ve become a Mentor to autistic and ADHD students attending Sheffield university.
Life beyond coaching
I’ve been wild swimming for the last 12 years mainly in the Peak District, meeting lots of amazing swimmers along the way.
Having been in many choirs over the years, I’m currently in Sheffield Community Choir. I’m not religious but the gospel music and the beautiful feeling of community warms my heart.
I also started dance exercise classes a few years ago as I’m not a gym lover! This is great fun – fortunately there are no mirrors so we ‘dance like no one is watching’ . In my head I look amazing.
